Primary and secondary microfilters
Microfilters are used to absorb particles and possible oil vapor exiting the compressor and include three types: primary, secondary, and final (carbon). In order to prevent any particles from entering the refrigeration and absorption dryer, it is necessary to use them before and after the dryer. The necessity of using oil traps before the dryer is that if oil vapor enters the evaporator, which is a very cold environment, it will cause sedimentation and greatly reduce the efficiency of the dryer. Also, in absorption dryers, if oil vapor enters the absorbent materials, it will cause the absorbent materials to be destroyed.
